Happy birthday to you both. What an awesome miracle – both of you! to have made it through all that. I’ve heard bits and pieces of the story now and then, but neat to read it all. She is a cutie for sure. I love the personality that shines through in your pictures of her.

The other blog is for my “professional” shots. The ones I get paid for, as well as the ones that will attract future business. I say that kinda of laughing because it really is just an expensive hobby at this point. If I had to scratch out a living ….. I couldn’t.
On the other hand, if I really HAD to scratch a living out of it, I would. You know what I mean
I’ll still have pictures on my personal blog. Btw, I think it’s great that you’re going to do a picture blog. I really really love looking at pictures. It does provide a certain sort of connection. Another way of understanding where that person is coming from and “who” they are.

She is just getting prettier and prettier….she is a real miracle. What a blessing and what a beautiful family you have!! *but from the last photo, I can see where it comes from*
I love the shot with the spiderman mask, my 12 yr old was “spider girl” for halloween this year and she wore parts of the costume for over a month.

I got some great snow shots. The other day we had to go to the store, and I left *without* my camera. On the way we saw about a hundred deer, AND a great big barn owl, just coming out for the night. It perched on the power line, and Rick stopped the car. It did that thing they do, and turned its head around straight behind itself, and looked right at us. Would have been such a cool pic. But I *didn’t* have my camera!

Aww, thanks, Cindy. ~ Her affection for Spiderman has got to be the longest running obsession I’ve seen. She still wears the body suit though it’s very “high water” on her now.

I read the birth story of your “cherry on top” and I was moved in my heart when I read of “surrendering to God and being okay if He let you live, or if He took you home.” I faced that same surrendering in March 2009 when I had my Stage 4 Cancer diagnosis. The peace that moment brought me, and how my walk of faith increased, are things I would NEVER trade. His ability and our complete IN-ability are the very things that makes Him such an awesome God. My cancer shrunk away to nothing and the doctors call it a miracle. So is your cherry on top! Happy birthday to your sweet little one!
